Quiet Leaf came to us with a vision for a slow, intentional wellness brand and asked us to create a visual identity that reflected the calm, care, and quiet ritual behind every cup.

Context
Quiet Leaf is an organic tea company that needed a cohesive visual identity and packaging system. We created a nature-inspired brand built around a hand-illustrated logo, warm earthy typography, and a visual language designed to feel calm yet grounded.
Strategy
Quiet Leaf was built around the idea of grounded calm. Rather than treating calmness as something airy or delicate, the strategy gave it weight through an earthy, saturated palette of moss, deep forest green, and warm terracotta. A hand-illustrated botanical mark replaced the generic leaf icon, giving the identity a more specific, less generic connection to tea and nature. The three-word filter, Minimal, Balanced, Clean, kept the system restrained and intentional.
Creative Direction
The identity centers on a hand-drawn sprig illustration paired with a classic serif wordmark, Cormorant Garamond for headers and Edita for body, giving the brand an editorial, almost apothecary-like quality rather than a typical tea-shop look. The mark flexes across a horizontal lockup, a stacked version, and a circular badge used for tea-bag tags, all built to hold up at small, functional sizes since tea packaging demands it. The palette stays earthy and grounded throughout: cream and moss for primary packaging, deep forest green for contrast pieces like the shopping bag, and warm terracotta reserved for accent moments like the badge and tag. Photography focuses on tactile tea details, from loose leaves to the tea bag tag and other natural elements, reinforcing the ritual and grounded quality of the brand.
