The strategy was to create a universal content template that could accommodate any cover, allowing each story to feel visually distinct while maintaining a cohesive identity across the publication. The system draws from the “ethereal” concept through celestial references and the idea of content existing within an expansive, interconnected space. This creates a flexible visual framework that can evolve with the publication’s subject matter without becoming repetitive or restrictive.
Creative Direction
The creative direction centers on an orbit-inspired editorial system that connects each piece through a recurring visual structure. The orbital element acts as a recognizable design signature, reinforcing the publication’s celestial character while creating continuity across different stories and covers. The carousel itself is designed as a continuous visual journey rather than a series of disconnected slides. Elements flow from one frame into the next, allowing the composition to remain visually connected as the reader scrolls and creating a more immersive editorial experience.
